Plan Your Visit

When will we meet?

Sundays at 9 and 10:45 am

Rest Sundays: On the fifth Sunday of the month, we don’t gather at Rooted. Instead, we encourage our people to do church at home with their family or neighbors, or to visit another local church and worship Jesus together. Learn more about why.

We've moved to two services: Sundays at 9 and 10:45 am

Where should I go?

Attending a new church can be intimidating and overwhelming! Let us help you know where to go by meeting us at the entrance, where one of our friendly volunteers can direct you where to go.

Parking is clearly marked, and the only reserved spots are for vehicles with handicap placards and plates.

What will we do?

Each Sunday service typically involves:

  • Greetings: Before the service starts, people find any seat that’s open and walk around to say hi.

  • Announcements: We’ll hear about upcoming events and ways you can get connected.

  • Singing: We’ll stand to worship God and encourage each other with songs.

  • Corporate Prayer: We’ll gather in groups of 6-8 to praise God, confess our needs, and ask for His help.

  • Scripture: We’ll read the Bible passage that we’re currently studying, and preach the unchanging truth of Scripture verse-by-verse. Our aim is to apply the Gospel to the core concerns of our lives.

Special Sunday celebrations also involve:

  • Communion: On the first Sunday of each month, we’ll celebrate the Lord’s Supper as a reminder of Jesus’ death as a sacrifice for sins. If you’re not a follower of Jesus, please just pass the communion elements along to the next person—we won’t judge you! This is a time for Christians to examine our hearts with reverence and take the elements in humility and joy.

  • Baptisms: A couple times a year, or as often as is needed, we celebrate water baptisms as a symbol of how God has given His people new life and faith in Him, through Christ's death and resurrection.

  • Child Dedications: A couple times a year, we provide an opportunity for parents to dedicate their parenting to the Lord and invite followers of Jesus to come alongside them as they point their child to Christ. A prayer is said over the children, their parents and families and the congregation. (Luke 2:221 Samuel 1:27-28).

Taco Sundays

On the fourth Sunday of each month at 11:30am, we share a meal together as family and friends! It’s a way for us to show appreciation to our volunteers, and everyone is welcome to join.

It’s a great opportunity to enjoy good food, meet people, and spend time together. If you attend our first service, we encourage you to stick around or come back to share a meal with everyone.

Giving

We give as a response to God’s grace, and to extend the church’s ministry to our community and world. The giving box is in the back, or you can give online or by texting "Give" with a dollar amount (e.g. "Give $5") to 1-888-262-4930.

What about my kids?

  • Ages 0–5: Little Sprouts meets every Sunday that we do.

  • Grades K–5: Rooted Kids is for grades K through 5th and meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.

  • Grade 6+: Teens and kids in 6th grade and above join us in the main Sunday service. Rooted Youth meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 6:30PM, with some exceptions.

Please check in your kids (fifth grade and younger) up to 15 minutes before each service starts so we can answer any questions you may have, and know who to contact in the event of a medical need.

Kids are also welcome to stay with you for the main service!

Our nursing moms room is available for women and their babies, or kids who need a few minutes to fidget. :-)

FAQs

What should I wear?

Some folks dress business casual and others wear jeans and a t-shirt. There’s no real requirement other than that we dress modestly so as not to be a distraction to others.

What if I’m not a “church person” or if I’m nervous?

We have all been the new person before, and it’s normal to be nervous someplace new! When you’re hurting, you should know it’s okay to not be okay. Christians aren’t perfect and our church isn’t perfect, so just come as you are (John 6:37). We’d love to meet you, talk with you, and pray for you.

How do I get connected?

Simply coming to a Sunday service is a great first step! For the next step, we encourage you to fill out a Connect Card in our lobby so someone can be sure to get in touch with you, or visit the Get Connected page to learn more.

Do you stream your services online?

We post audio recordings of our services after we meet, not during, which you can check out on our Teaching page. We want you to hear God’s word being preached, and it’s our conviction that we should meet together in person as followers of Jesus. We encourage you to join us in-person so we can meet you!

Subscribe to our sermon podcast.

What are your beliefs and values?

You can learn about our basic beliefs and read our full statement of faith. If anything is unclear, we would be happy to answer any questions—simply reach out so we can follow-up with you.

Can I check out Rooted if I’m not a Christian?

Absolutely! If you only know “Jesus” as a swear word, you’re not alone. We’d love to get to know you, answer your questions, and tell you about the real Jesus who loves you and wants you to follow Him.

Do you let ___ people into your church?

Yes! The Church is made up of all kinds of people regardless of their ethnicity, history, or bank account.

If you don’t know Jesus, whatever your beliefs are, we want to get to know you. Please join us so we can learn about you, and you can learn about your Creator.
