Rooted Young Adults
We are a community of young adults (ages 18–29) committed to growing in faith and purpose. We strive to build authentic relationships and boldly impact our community for God’s Kingdom by reflecting Christ’s love in everything we do.
What to Expect
We meet the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month, from 6:30 to about 8:00, with breaks during the summer and winter.
Each gathering begins with a lighthearted icebreaker game, a relaxed way to meet new people and start building connections.
In addition to our regular meetings, we try to gather once or twice more each month for social events like game nights, bunco, or local outings.
First Thursday
Devotional message followed by discussion questions. Men and women split into separate groups for deeper conversation.
Third Thursday
Guest speaker or sermon, followed by small co-ed groups for discussion.
Who is RYA for?
Anyone ages 18–29 is welcome, single or married. You do not need to attend Rooted Church to be part of RYA.

Our scheduled meetings take place at Rooted Church. Additional social events may vary by location.
The topics that we discuss vary from week to week. Typically, we’ll either discuss a topic relevant to young adults (work, finances, relationships, etc.) or unpack a particular passage of scripture together and see how we can apply it to our lives.

Do I need to register?
No registration is required unless the event is specifically advertised (e.g., RYA Games).
What should I bring?
A Bible and notebook are helpful if you’d like to take notes, and friends are highly encouraged.
Do I have to attend Rooted Church to come?
No, all young adults 18–29 are welcome.
What if I’m married?
Married and single young adults are both invited.
Is childcare available?
Not at this time.
